Retreat With Some Sheep…
Our two shepherds’ huts have been built to make the most of the truly incredible views, with the double doors and windows overlooking picturesque farmland and the coast of Porthleven, Loe bar and the Lizard. Tucked away in a peaceful corner of this rural farm, the only neighbours you’ll have to share these stunning views with are the happy lambs and birds. Whether you’ve spent a long day on the beach, or perhaps walked along the coast path to Porthleven, there’s no better place to relax and recoup than outside the hut with a BBQ.
For the colder months we’ve designed the huts to keep you snug and warm, with a wood burning stove just inside the double doors, so you can keep one eye on the fire and the other on the views. With a comfortable double bed and soft chairs will mean you can relax and stay cosy after busy days exploring this amazing part of Cornwall.
Our two little huts were built together and are in fact mirrored twins in their layout. Inside each one has slightly different furnishings and touches but all the amenities and functions are identical . They each have their own distinctive feel and character and we love them both just the same…

Mordros:
Named by our loyal following on Instagram “Mordros” is Cornish for ‘The Sound Of The Sea’ which is perfectly apt for this beautiful little hut. One has truly panoramic views of the sea from this elevated position and when stormy you can hear the nearby Atlantic crashing against the granite cliffs nearby.
Morwenna
Our twin hut to neighbour Mordros, Morwenna has her own unique character. Also named by our lovely followers on Instagram “Morwenna” whose meaning in Cornish is ‘Waves of the sea’ also has incredible sea view panoramas as well as the views over our sheep farm and beyond towards Porthleven and Loe Bar.
Each hut is equipped with:
- A kitchenette, including fridge, sink, gas hobs, pots and pans, utensils, plates, cutlery, mugs, glasses
- Private bathroom, including flushing toilet, and hot shower and sink
- Wood burning stove
- Living area with comfy seating
- Comfortable double bed
- A usb charge point
- Private fenced garden with picnic bench

Corona Virus Notice: We clean, disinfect and air our Shepherds huts to the highest standard after each guest. You can rest assured in the knowledge that you are staying in a clean and safe space. Prior to your visit, if you or any members of your group are showing any symptoms of corona virus or have tested positive for covid you must stay at home and self isolate for the required period by the UK government. During your stay if you require our staff to enter your hut we will always have all doors and windows open and wear a mask as standard procedure. All campsite facilities are cleaned regularly to the highest standard.
